This site will house a state-of-the-art, 7,000-square-foot facility featuring multiple service bays and a dedicated indoor wash bay, reinforcing Premier’s commitment to superior service in the region.
Expected to employ more than 35 support staff drivers, the new Tri-Cities facility will complement Premier’s existing operations in Knoxville and Chattanooga, TN, where the company maintains a fleet of over 50 motorcoaches, by enhancing regional coverage and operational efficiency.
For over 20 years, Premier has served local schools, businesses, and churches in the Tri-Cities area from its Knoxville and Greenville locations. The new Tri-Cities facility, paired with the addition of fifteen new motorcoaches to Premier’s fleet, will bolster the company’s ability to provide faster service, more competitive rates, and enhanced support for valued clients in Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, and surrounding communities.
“This expansion strengthens our ability to serve the Tri-Cities with the efficiency and reliability our clients expect,” said Taylor Thomas, General Manager of Premier Transportation. “Our new facility will ensure we deliver unparalleled service while keeping our fleet in top condition.”
As a proud member of the International Motorcoach Group (IMG), a prestigious network of elite charter operators, Premier maintains industry-leading standards.
Construction on the new facility began in July 2025, with operations expected to commence by May 1, 2026.
