Description – The Lead Educator is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and
social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to maintain age appropriate
classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and
Star Quality standards.

Location –YWCA Children’s Center, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620 & Wellmont Child Development Center, 281 Steeles Road, Bristol, TN

Schedule –This is a full time position with benefits, scheduled 40 hours per week. Potential work
hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or
weekend training sessions may be required.
Education/ Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a
high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in related field and two (2) years of childcare
experience in a licensed center preferred.
