Description – The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional
and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to assist the Lead
Educator in maintaining age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet
State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards.

Location –YWCA Children’s Center, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620 & Wellmont Child Development Center, 281 Steeles Road, Bristol, TN

Schedule – Full and part time positions. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the
hours 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.
Education/ Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Experience
preferred but not required.
