Objectives: This training program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Agenda: 1st Day 8:00 am - 5:15 pm 2nd Day 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Lunch on 1st day 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm OSH/TOSH Act, Inspections, Standards, Citations and Penalties; Health Hazards in Construction; Personal Protective Equipment & Lifesaving Equipment; Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators & Conveyors; Electrical/Electrocution; Fall Protection & Prevention; Scaffolds; Focus Four & What Kills In Tennessee - Fatality Investigations.
